Join us as our new Manager

At this key stage in our development we are looking for an experienced arts/music manager, to work on either a part-time or full-time basis, in the UK or EU. The post will be supported by a part-time administrator. The primary focus is to promote and develop the work of O/Modernt and its artistic director. We would welcome applications from candidates with experience in artist management and with a large network who would be inspired by the challenges presented by this flexible, creative role. Candidates should be driven by curiosity and a sense of artistic adventure.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES (depending on employment terms)

-Overseeing, developing and implementing a clear business strategy for all O/Modernt
operations, in close consultation with the artistic director
-Representing O/Modernt at major events and building relationships with key promoters
and artistic partners
-Representing Hugo Ticciati as violinist, director and curator, and collaborating on the
development of long-term artistic strategies
-Promoting and securing appropriate engagements for the O/Modernt Chamber Orchestra
and O/Modernt Soloists
-Liaising with local agents
-Securing commissioning partners globally
-Advising on guest artists for festivals and curated series at the Queen Silvia Concert Hall
-Negotiating fees and devising project budgets in consultation with the artistic director
-Ensuring all administration for O/Modernt engagements (travel, accommodation, visas,
schedules and invoicing) is delivered to the highest professional standard, with assistance
from the part-time administrator
-Working with artistic director on PR and marketing opportunities, and enhancing
O/Modernt’s profile through use of the organisation’s website and social media, with
assistance from the part-time PR and communications assistant
