Marin Jalut-Motte started his ballet training at the age of seven at the Norwegian National Ballet school in Oslo. When he turned thirteen, he moved to Paris to join the Paris Opera Ballet school. After four years in Paris, Marin started working professionally at the Junior Company of the Norwegian National Ballet. He then joined the Opéra National de Bordeaux and finally moved to the Royal Swedish Ballet in 2019. He has worked and performed with a number of renowned classical and contemporary choreographers. In Bordeaux and Stockholm Marin has danced many solo roles, including Paris in Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet, Daphnis in Daphnis and Chloé, Phoebus in Notre-Dame de Paris and Espada in Don Quixote.
