Maria Misgeld is a folk singer based in Stockholm, her most important field is polyphonic folk singing and kulning. She teaches singing and kulning at the folk music department at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Maria leads and conducts the Stockholm Folk Music Choir and freelances as a soloist in various artistic projects and for over 25 years she is a singer in the folk vocal trio - Irmelin.
