Nature has always been a source of fascination for me, and years ago, I discovered a true passion for bird photography and birdwatching. Observing, understanding, and immersing myself in the world of birds is both an exciting and challenging experience—one that has given me countless unforgettable moments.
Over the years, I have dedicated hundreds of hours to capturing the beauty of birds through my lens, while also exploring other disciplines such as macro photography—focusing on insects, plants, and fungi—and, more recently, underwater photography. Each of these fields offers a unique perspective on the natural world, deepening my connection with the environments I seek to document and protect.
Nature photography is an extraordinary means of expression, offering an inexhaustible range of subjects and creative possibilities. With a vast spectrum of techniques, equipment, and personal interpretations, nature photographers have the opportunity to showcase the beauty, fragility, and raw power of the natural world in ways that transcend simple documentation. Through my work, I strive not only to capture nature as it is but to reveal its essence through an artistic and evocative lens.
Beyond the documentary approach, I now seek a more refined, artistic vision in my images—one that recreates atmospheres, highlights the aesthetics of nature, and conveys deeper emotions. My goal is to offer a perspective that inspires appreciation and awareness, encouraging a stronger commitment to conservation.
I am honoured that some of my images have been recognised and awarded in international nature photography competitions, a testament to the power of visual storytelling in raising awareness of the wonders of our planet. Through my work, I hope to contribute to a greater understanding and appreciation of nature, using photography as a bridge between the wild and those who seek to protect it.
I’ve published some BOOKS and participated as jury member of some International Photo Contests.
