Born in Bergamo in 1992, Gloria Foresti studied viola with Davide Zaltron (Master Degree at Conservatorio di Musica di Vicenza) and Bruno Giuranna (Accademia Stauffer in Cremona).

She moved to Gothenburg in 2018 when admitted at the Academy of Music and Drama, in the Master for Symphonic Orchestra Performance, studying with Johanna Persson and Hanne Skjelbred. Since her graduation she has been freelancing amongst others with I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Folkoperan Stockholm, Musica Vitae Chamber Orchestra, O/Modernt Chamber Orchestra, Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. In 2018 she was selected to participate in the Orchesterakademie der Tiroler Festspiele Erl.

Passionate about languages and literature, she holds a Master degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Padua.
