A graduate of the Paris Conservatory (CNSM), Cyrille Dubois began his career at the Paris Opera's Young Artists Program.
Considered as one of the finest tenors of his generation, he explores a wide range of repertoire, from Baroque to contemporary music, including Mozart and French Opéra-Comique, in the world's most prestigious venues: La Monnaie in Brussels (La Dispute), the Glyndebourne Opera Festival (L'Enfant et les Sortilèges), the Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Pearls Fishers, Così fan tutte), the Opéra de Lyon & the Edinburgh Festival (La Cenerentola), La Scala in Milan and the Bunkamura in Tokyo (Hoffmann’s Tales), the Opéra de Monte-Carlo (Lakmé, L'Enfant et les Sortilèges, Die Entführung aus dem Sérail), the Paris Opéra Comique (Le Domino Noir, Fortunio, Armide), the Opéra National de Paris (The Magic Flute, Così fan tutte, Ariadne auf Naxos, Le Roi Arthus, Les Troyens, Trompe la Mort, Don Giovanni, Makropoulos Case, Alcina, The Huguenots), the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (Mitridate, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, La Voix Humaine/Point d’Orgue, Elisir d’Amore, Così fan tutte, Iphigenia in Aulis, Lakmé, Les Mamelles Tiresias, Magic Flute, La Cenerentola, Medea), the Opera du Capitole (The Rape of Lucretia, Idomeneo, Orpheus in the Underworld), the Vienna State Opera (Don Pasquale, La Juive, Il ritorno d’Ulisse a Patria, The Magic Flute), the Zurich Opernhaus (Hippolytus and Aricia, Falstaff), etc.
Passionate about preserving and promoting the French repertoire, he frequently collaborates with the Palazzetto Bru Zane (Le Saphir, La Reine de Chypre, La Caravane du Caire, L’île du Rêve, Phryné, Le Roi d’Ys, Zampa, Jean de Nivelles...) and the Versailles Baroque Music Center, CMBV (Persée, Dardanus, Acanthe et Céphise, Polydore, Scylla et Glaucus...).
His greatest passion remains the Lied and the French art song, particularly with pianist Tristan Raës. His discography includes, among others, Liszt's "So Romantique!" and "O lieb!", "Jouissons de nos beaux ans," Britten's Canticles, and complete cycles of Fauré and Poulenc, as well as songs by Beydts, Massenet, and Saint-Saëns.
In 2025-26 he is invited for numerous concerts with Les Musiciens du Louvre & Marc Minkowski (Bremen and Gstaad), L’Enfant et les Sortilèges (Francfort HR Orchestra, Alain Altinoglu), Les Parapluies de Cherbourg (Saint- Etienne), Zampa (Bayerischer Rundfunk Munich), L’Enfance du Christ, Jean de Nivelles & Grand Motets by Lalande (Budapest); Schumann’s Das Paradis und die Peri (Orchestre National de France, Philharmonie de Paris), Roméo et Juliette under Charles Dutoit (Ljubljana Winter Festival), Saint John’s Passion (Théâtre des Champs-Elysées-TCE) with Il Caravaggio & Camille Delaforge; Britten concerts with the O’Modern Ensemble conducted by Hugo Ticciati in Stockholm; on Opera stages he performs POINT D’ORGUE (TCE) and ORPHEE ET EURYDICE (Limoges and Vichy); in recital with Tristan Raës (Lausitz, Palazzetto Bru Zane, Opéra Comique, Musée du Louvre & Salle Cortot in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London) among others, and in numerous recordings, etc. Named "Opera Singer Discovery" at the 2015 Victoires de la Musique awards, he was appointed a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2022.
