Carl plays the violin and is passionate about bringing the life and energy of folkmusic together with the depth, clarity and sophistication of classical music. Carl is currently studying at Edsberg, a chamber music-focused campus of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, with Per Enoksson and also with Nina Balabina. He is also part of DUEN Academy and O/modernt newGeneration and have through this gotten a deep insight chamber orchestra playing, and especially contemporary music. He’s taken part in first performances by Peteris Vasks, Tõnu Kõrvits, Anders Koppel and others.  Carl has received a number of scholarships from among others Kungliga Musikaliska Akademien, Rune Ljungdahls Stiftelse and JAA-stiftelsen.
