Angelo Fonseca Holm (18) studies the viola for prof. Nina Balabina & prof. Steven Svensson and the piano for prof. Victoria Power at the ’Lilla Akademiens Musikgymnasium’ in Stockholm.

As a musician, he dreams of developing his understanding of symphonic and chamber music internationally, always keeping in mind the goal of developing a healthy lifestyle with brilliant ergonomics and playing technique. Besides the musical and emotional aspects of this profession, the technical depths which he is taught by his professors, is what he feels strongly as something he will spend his days until the final one, passing over to his own future students. 

“The whole point of being a musician is about being free in your expressions, but how freely can you express yourself musically when not a single joint or muscle is free? I think having a musical career that you want to rely on for many years, totally depends on having your body and head in place, and there I believe the teacher you develop your playing technique with has the biggest responsibility. Therefore feel I have to become one.”

Angelo made his debut with the New Generation Symphony Orchestra at the orchestra’s premiere in August 2024.
