Production Coordinator

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team to support the running of O/Modernt, including the chamber orchestra, the annual festival in Stockholm and the O/Modernt Academy.

The role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, ranging from maintaining diaries and producing schedules, working on the logistics and on-site coordination of rehearsals and concerts, administrative tasks in support of the Production and Marketing Manager, the Artistic Director, the General Manager, as well as other members of the team. Additionally, the successful candidate will be introduced to the marketing and promotion tasks, and there will be opportunities to develop and expand this aspect of the job.

What we are looking for from you
What we are looking for from you

- A background in music and the organisation of arts events; an ability to read orchestral scores will be an advantage.

- A very high level of computer literacy, including but not limited to, the MS Office suite of programmes and Dropbox. Experience in editing audiovisual materials will be an advantage, together with experience of using artist- and orchestral-management software.

- Experience of making logistical arrangements, including booking flights and accommodation, coordinating rooming lists, and processing visas and entry applications.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- An ability to work independently, while prioritising a heavy workload and remaining calm and efficient under pressure.

- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages will be an advantage.

- An ability to travel internationally and to work outside social hours when required.

- A keen interest in PR and promotion.

16-22 EUR per hour depending on experience; flexible working hours of 20 to 30 hours per week on a freelance basis.

Start date to be determined by mutual agreement.

The role will be a mixture of working from home and international travel.
